INTRODUCING THE WORlD’S FIRST TRULY ECO FRIENDLY PET BEAN BED
We have been working hard to extend our range so the furry members of the family can have an eco-friendly non toxic bean bed.
We were shocked when we conducted our latest research into pet beds that even those that claim to be eco-friendly use recycled plastic in the fabrics and fillings some are even filled with polystyrene. We don’t think this creates a great environment for our pets as these material release toxins and can be harmful to them when chewed.
WHY SHOULD OUR PETS BE SURROUNDED BY UNNATURAL PLASTIC PRODUCTS?
We wanted to create a pet bed which, like our other products, will look stylish in the home while keeping the environment in mind from the manufacturing process to materials used. Bracken and her team of friends have been testing the beds to make sure they are comfortable, practical and hard wearing.

Every dog and cat deserves a cosy place to sleep at night or snooze in all the day. We had this in mind when we designed our super soft organic fleece toppers with detailed pipping. What makes them even better is it fully removable and machine washable. They fix on securely with snap fastenings and are so light you can take them with you so your dog can always have a cosy space to rest that smells like home. You can even get spares so your pet can always have a clean spot.
The base is made from Halley Stevenson waxed cotton. It’s well known for being used to make a popular brand of waxed jacket for over 100 years. Which is why we can guarantee that it is top quality and hard wearing, making it perfect for pets that like to dig or pad at their beds. Being waterproof it also means it with stand muddy paws and little accidents.
We use the same recycled plastic bottle thread that we use on all our other products. We chose this thread as we believe it is even more durable than standard cotton thread and we want our products to stand the test of time. It’s another important component which is not currently commercially used.
All of these elements create the perfect eco friendly pet bed that will be loved by your pet but also are great for you the owner with there practicallity in mind. Whats even better is what they are filled with.
WhY is Biofoam® a great filling for pet beds?
Recognising the environmental impact of polystyrene filled products, we searched far and wide for an eco-friendly alternative that wouldn’t compromise on quality or comfort. BioFoam® is the perfect solution, and we’re the only bean bag company in the world using this compostable biopolymer. What makes it even better is BioFoam® is CO2 neutral in its manufacturing.
But why is it the perfect filling for pet beds? It’s non-toxic, so they wont upset your pets belly if they accidently eat them or release nasty toxins around the home. They are all natural creating the perfect enviroment to spend long amounts of time snoozing in. Finally its durable so your pet can always create a comfy spot by burrowing into the the centre.
How we will use our funds?
All our products are hand made in cornwall
We manufacture all our products by hand in Cornwall to ensure the quality. When we started our business we didn’t want to mass produce our products overseas. We decided to manage our stock with the demand so nothing goes to waste and our seamstresses are paid fairly.
Why We Do What We Do
We’re working hard to make sure all our products have minimal impact on the environment. We use threads manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, and all the materials we use in all our products can be repurposed or composted.

Cleaning Cloth Pack
Scrubby cloths (from Elizabeth & Ernest) are a pair of reusable washable eco-friendly sponges perfect to reduce your waste around the home. Great for washing those dirty dishes our un-sponge is made from two-tones of a 100% cotton tight weave fabric. The corners are great for removing stubborn dirt and the centre is great for a general cleaning. A perfect replacement to the sponges you find in the supermarket that only last a couple of weeks before ending up in landfill.
What’s even better about our cloth cloths is we are dedicated to less waste all round! These sponges are made from off cuts that would normally go to landfill or to a recycle plant. This fabric has been repurposed, no extra fabric has been used in making these cloth’s, its even filled with there smallest scraps.
